Things in this world will not remain as they are; so even though what’s being declared here may be unsettling, weird and rebellious, or even absurd to some, it will make more sense in time and to those who seek understanding from the scriptures, and the Lord.
Some of what the Lord has to say can be unwanted news, meaning we need to change or were wrong in our thinking.
But great and marvelous are the blessings for those who seek to know the Lord and the mysteries of God and Godliness, the scriptures are filled with accounts of people doing so.
D&C 11:7
“Seek not for riches but for wisdom; and, behold, the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto you, and then shall you be made rich.
Behold, he that hath eternal life is rich.”
Either 4:6, 7, 11, 13, 15
“For the Lord said unto me: They shall not go forth unto the Gentiles until the day that they shall repent of their iniquity, and become clean before the Lord.
And in that day that they shall exercise faith in me, saith the Lord, even as the brother of Jared did, that they may become sanctified in me, then will I manifest unto them the things which the brother of Jared saw, even to the unfolding unto them all my revelations, saith Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Father of the heavens and of the earth, and all things that in them are.
But he that believeth these things which I have spoken, him will I visit with the manifestations of my Spirit, and he shall know and bear record. For because of my Spirit he shall know that these things are true; for it persuadeth men to do good.
Come unto me, O ye Gentiles, and I will show unto you the greater things, the knowledge which is hid up because of unbelief.
Come unto me, O ye house of Israel, and it shall be made manifest unto you how great things the Father hath laid up for you, from the foundation of the world; and it hath not come unto you, because of unbelief.
Behold, when ye shall rend that veil of unbelief which doth cause you to remain in your awful state of wickedness, and hardness of heart, and blindness of mind, then shall the great and marvelous things which have been hid up from the foundation of the world from you—yea, when ye shall call upon the Father in my name, with a broken heart and a contrite spirit, then shall ye know that the Father hath remembered the covenant which he made unto your fathers, O house of Israel.”
So much more is offered to us through the gospel of Jesus Christ as restored by the prophet Joseph Smith, than what is now taught in the classes and conferences within the LDS church.
On December 17th 2014 the Lord said to me.
“…therefore, verily I say unto you, lift up your voice unto this people; speak the thoughts that I shall put into your heart…”
But I failed to properly do so, and then on April 7th of 2015 the Lord likened me to Jonah of the Old Testament for running from my errand.
This blog is an attempt to obey that request of the Lord. And I’m repenting of my fear of sharing this message and my lack of faith in others to believe it.
The gospel of Jesus Christ as restored by the prophet Joseph Smith is true, Jesus is the Christ, the Savior and Redeemer of the world.
However at this time Christs restored gospel and the LDS church are not on the same path, but separate, the gospel is the Lords to do as He wishes, and the church now teaches the philosophies of men and the traditions of their fathers
The Lords guidance, and His doctrine is what we should seek; not the precepts and traditions of man so prevalent in all churches today.
This is from Christ Himself on His doctrine and what we must do.
III Nephi 11:32-40
“And this is my doctrine, and it is the doctrine which the Father hath given unto me; and I bear record of the Father, and the Father beareth record of me, and the Holy Ghost beareth record of the Father and me; and I bear record that the Father commandeth all men, everywhere, to repent and believe in me.
And whoso believeth in me, and is baptized, the same shall be saved; and they are they who shall inherit the kingdom of God.
And whoso believeth not in me, and is not baptized, shall be damned.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, that this is my doctrine, and I bear record of it from the Father; and whoso believeth in me believeth in the Father also; and unto him will the Father bear record of me, for he will visit him with fire and with the Holy Ghost.
And thus will the Father bear record of me, and the Holy Ghost will bear record unto him of the Father and me; for the Father, and I, and the Holy Ghost are one.
And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and become as a little child, and be baptized in my name, or ye can in nowise receive these things.
And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and be baptized in my name, and become as a little child, or ye can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, that this is my doctrine, and whoso buildeth upon this buildeth upon my rock, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against them.
And whoso shall declare more or less than this, and establish it for my doctrine, the same cometh of evil, and is not built upon my rock; but he buildeth upon a sandy foundation, and the gates of hell stand open to receive such when the floods come and the winds beat upon them.”
Christ’s doctrine is what we must return to; Christ should be our foundation. Not layers of church hierarchy clouding our relationship to God, not buildings, and not the world’s acceptance.
This is Moroni testifying of what we need.
Moroni 10:32, 33
“Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God.
And again, if ye by the grace of God are perfect in Christ, and deny not his power, then are ye sanctified in Christ by the grace of God, through the shedding of the blood of Christ, which is in the covenant of the Father unto the remission of your sins, that ye become holy, without spot.”
And according to Nephi, we must follow the narrow path in Christ for eternal life.
II Nephi 31:18-21
“And then are ye in this strait and narrow path which leads to eternal life; yea, ye have entered in by the gate; ye have done according to the commandments of the Father and the Son; and ye have received the Holy Ghost, which witnesses of the Father and the Son, unto the fulfilling of the promise which he hath made, that if ye entered in by the way ye should receive.
And now, my beloved brethren, after ye have gotten into this strait and narrow path, I would ask if all is done? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for ye have not come thus far save it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of him who is mighty to save.
Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.
And now, behold, my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God. And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.”
You are not the same after the lord of heaven has spoken to you, nor will you be able to offer devotion to any man thereafter; but God only!
He hath filled me with his love, even unto the consuming of my flesh, as should we all experience.
His ways are not our ways, but they are the only way to life and salvation. Attending meetings, getting baptized and confirmed a member of the LDS church, or any church, guarantees nothing. All the ordinances in world guarantee nothing. But they should point us and our devotions towards God!
You will find many blazing trails to God and I pray they find Him, however I believe we should start by pondering upon the teachings of those who have gone before us and spoken to God, and the scriptures are full of their teachings and examples.
Our devotions should be of Christ and He’s doctrine. And once we have started down that path in Christ, Nephi asks is that all?
II Nephi 32:1-6
“And now, behold, my beloved brethren, I suppose that ye ponder somewhat in your hearts concerning that which ye should do after ye have entered in by the way. But, behold, why do ye ponder these things in your hearts?
Do ye not remember that I said unto you that after ye had received the Holy Ghost ye could speak with the tongue of angels? And now, how could ye speak with the tongue of angels save it were by the Holy Ghost?
Angels speak by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore, they speak the words of Christ. Wherefore, I said unto you, feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do.
Wherefore, now after I have spoken these words, if ye cannot understand them it will be because ye ask not, neither do ye knock; wherefore, ye are not brought into the light, but must perish in the dark.
For behold, again I say unto you that if ye will enter in by the way, and receive the Holy Ghost, it will show unto you all things what ye should do.
Behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and there will be no more doctrine given until after he shall manifest himself unto you in the flesh. And when he shall manifest himself unto you in the flesh, the things which he shall say unto you shall ye observe to do.”
There is precious little about the need for devotions to church hierarchy or endless ordinances and meetings being taught here in Christ’s doctrine.
Meeting together oft is important and there are of course ordinances to be performed, but they alone will not save, only the Lord Himself can bestow upon you eternal life.
II Nephi 9:41
“O then, my beloved brethren, come unto the Lord, the Holy One. Remember that his paths are righteous. Behold, the way for man is narrow, but it lieth in a straight course before him, and the keeper of the gate is the Holy One of Israel; and he employeth no servant there; and there is none other way save it be by the gate; for he cannot be deceived, for the Lord God is his name.”
A marvelous work and a wonder is before us. What has been prophesied of and what the prophets have looked forward to since the beginning of time is soon at hand, but much yet needs to be done and take place.
Joel 2: 28-32
“ ¶And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.”
These experiences and gifts are available to all of us, not just certain individuals with important positions. Seek, knock, ponder, pray, and you “will” find the Lord!
We “personally” can call upon the Lord for further light and knowledge, not just our leaders.
Three hours of Sunday meetings and a calling isn’t going to do it.
How could we possibly expect these gifts, or Zion to come, or the prize of exaltation to be given as a result of anything other than the greatest of individual tests, and a willingness to sacrifice literally everything we personally have, and are, upon the altar of Christ?
Joseph Smith said the following.
“For a man to lay down his all, his character and reputation, his honor and applause, his good name among men, his houses, his lands, his brothers and sisters, his wife and children, and even his own life also, counting all things but filth and dross for the excellency of the knowledge of Jesus Christ, requires more than mere belief, or supposition that he is doing the will of God, but actual knowledge: realizing, that when these sufferings are ended he will enter into eternal rest; and be a partaker of the glory of God.
“It is in vain for persons to fancy themselves that they are heirs with those, or can be heirs with them, who have offered their all in sacrifice, and by this means obtained faith in God and favor with him so as to obtain eternal life, unless they in like manner offer unto him the same sacrifice, and through that offering obtain the knowledge that they are accepted of him.”
(Lectures on Faith, Lecture Six, paragraphs 5, 8)
We all need to repent by turning to God, not man, and seek a personal relationship with heaven; beginning with a personal return to Christ.
Ask the Lord to prepare your own heart for Zion and the great events of the latter days. Ask Him to show you the way and what you lack and “He will show you”, that’s how it begins!
But this is a very personal and personalized journey. And can it be a lonely one, where the Lord is truly your only friend.
We should each of us, talk of Christ, we should rejoice in Christ, we should preach of Christ, we should prophesy of Christ, and write according to our prophecies, that our children, and the world, may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.
The Lord is in the process moving forward in this latter day work once again; and in the process of gathering all who will hear His voice!

D&C 10:66-70
“Yea, if they will come, they may, and partake of the waters of life freely. Behold, this is my doctrine—whosoever repenteth and cometh unto me, the same is my church.
Whosoever declareth more or less than this, the same is not of me, but is against me; therefore he is not of my church.
And now, behold, whosoever is of my church, and endureth of my church to the end, him will I establish upon my rock, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against them.
And now, remember the words of him who is the life and light of the world, your Redeemer, your Lord and your God. Amen.”
Repent and come to Christ and you are His church!
Very little to do with impressing others, only God!
I recognize this is old news to many, unbelievable to others and very preachy to most, but this is my testimony and where I have discovered we need to begin in our journeys back to God and in seeking His face before the great and terrible events of the latter days are fully upon us.
The holy one of Israel, Jesus Christ, is the son of God and the redeemer of all who believe in Him and are baptized in His name, receive the Holy Ghost, become as a little child seeking to know more of Him and His ways, to love Him, follow Him, and keep His commandments. Do these things with real intent, with a broken heart and a contrite spirit and you will find Him, and then you will know Him. And that is the fullness of the Gospel!
I testify these teachings to be true, in the name of Jesus Christ amen!
Your brother in Christ.
